Hold U was inspired by the idea that humans, including myself, all cling to the illusory narratives we create about reality. I’ve been fascinated by the primacy of our hands throughout our evolution, with opposable thumbs being our greatest asset therein, and how we may be losing their necessity in light of the technological revolution we find ourselves in. It’s both an ode to the craft of creating physical objects and swan song for that craft.
